Distance Learning - Week 5

This term we are exploring the concept of diversity. We're starting this unit of work off by finding out about ourselves and our own cultures.

One of our distance learning tasks this week was to make a 'discovery box' of things that represent who we are and where we come from. A discovery box is a collection of items that represent a person, place or thing.

Here are some of discovery boxes. Let us know what you think! šŸ˜Š

Axel's Samoan discovery box
Anoosha's Pakistan discovery box
Tameer's Muslim discovery box

  1. Hi everyone, I really like all the discovery boxes. Tameer is that a gold mirror?
Axel is there something in in the box? And Anoosha what is that bird called?
I am going to practice commenting on blogs.
    See you later. Bye Agnes.

    1. Hi Agnes. Thanks for your comment and questions. Tameer isn't sure what it is made of but it isn't a mirror. It has writing on it. Axel says that in the box there are earrings that belong to his mum. From Harris Class.

  2. Hi Agnes,

Yes. That box is a jewellery box. My mum keeps some of her jewellery in it. I like your slideshow.

    Bye, Axel.
