Cook Islands Language Week

Kia orāna bloggers!

Pe'ea 'ua koe?

We hope you've all had a great week learning about and celebrating Cook Islands Language Week.

Here in Harris Class we learnt how to say some common phrases in Cook Islands Māori and we focussed this week's art on the tiare flower, which is the national flower of the Cook Islands. We also hosted a whole school assembly to celebrate all of the wonderful learning that has been going on in our school.

What did you learn about the Cook Islands this week?
